Transform International (Canada) 2024 is a Canadian charity operating internationally, which brings together charitable projects in the developing world under one umbrella to share information, learn from each other, and qualify for Canadian tax receipts. Each project in the developing world is led by a team of in-country volunteers and staff, and as well as a Canadian volunteer. In 2024 Open Hands Education Trust began a partnership with Transform International (Canada) for the purpose of growing and enhancing the charitable work of Open Hands Education Trust in India. Nancy Carroll of Victoria, BC, Canada is the Canadian volunteer working with both Transform International Canada and Open Hands Education Trust in India.

Celia Fuller was part of the initial start-up and vision behind the creation of the Open Hands Education Trust’s women’s sewing training program. She and her husband Grant gifted the first sewing machines for the Open Hands sewing program to Jhulan and Pratigya as a wedding gift in 2016. (06/03/2017). This Australian couple are like precious relatives to Jhulan and his family. They are fondly known as “Momma Celia” and “Uncle”. Celia has indicated her ongoing support of the sewing program through funds she raises through WOW women’s empowerment retreats and business events. Currently she is focusing of contributing towards the salaries of the sewing teachers at Open Hands Education Trust.
