Providing a free school, teachers, educational programs, and study materials to poor and needy rural children.

With the lack of public funds for education, and the prevalence of deep poverty - many children living in rural villages in Bihar State can barely imagine going to school, let alone attaining a higher education. Coming from a background where education is often seen as an unaffordable luxury, these children usually end up working at a young age to support their families, and never attending school. Even if families value education, and want their children to be in school, many poor parents are unable to afford the required school fees as well as more fees for books, study materials and uniforms. Without an education these children end up in a cycle of poverty from one generation to the next.

In order to bridge this gap, Open Hands Education Trust has implemented a program that provides free education for underprivileged rural village children. We believe that supporting a child's education is the best way to help break the cycle of poverty. By giving disadvantaged children and young people the support and resources they need to achieve their full potential, we believe that we can have a lasting positive impact on their lives and on the lives of the generations that come after them.

In order to bridge the gap and tackle the disparity, Open Hands Education Trust implemented a program that provides free education to the underprivileged and needy. We truly believe supporting a child’s education is the best way to help break the cycle of disadvantage. By giving disadvantaged children and young people the support and resources they need to achieve their full potential, our impact will have a lasting effect on those we help today, and for generations to come.

The journey of a child’s all-round development and self-confidence can begin at school. Every child deserves the opportunity to attend school, to learn, and to grow to their full potential.
