Namaste,
My name is Monton Rani. I am a resident of village Dadwan. I am 18 years old. My father’s name is late Vrindawan Vihari. We are two sisters and three brothers. My eldest sister name is Bulbul Kumari. My brothers’s names are Rambabu, Kanhaiya and Munna. My mother’s name is Hiramuni Kumari, who is a widow. I have completed my school education from R.D.P.S Women's School. I belong from a poor family. Once there was a time when I and my family used to live happily. Everything was going fine. Suddenly my father suffered from a sickness, and after contacting and consulting with the doctor we came to know that he has a cancer. His treatment was done from cancer hospital Patna but his condition was becoming serious day by day. He died within months. After his death the condition of our family become worst because he was the only person in our family who earns for meal and need of our family. After the death of my father I came in that situation where I have to sacrifice my study because of financial crisis in my family. There is no one in our family who helped us financially.
My sister Bulbul kumari who is married. She used to go Open Hand Education to learn sewing skill. She was very hardworking and after learning she became expert in operating sewing machine. After looking her talent, when the founder of Open Hand Education started the school, he appointed my sister (Bulbul Kumari) as a teacher in that school. When Mr Jhulan kumar (founder of Open Hand Education) came to know about our family condition, he felt sad. When my sister requested him to help me in completing my study then he agreed and helped me financially in completing my school education upto 12th. I felt glad to say that I have completed my school education with good grades and it became possible because of the help of Open Hand Education. My family and I will be always grateful to Open Hands Education Trust for their kindness and support they provided me during my tough time and difficult situation. I would like to extend my sincer gratitute and my heartfelt thanks from bottom of my heart to OHET for supporting me for my college education. At present me and my mother are teaching the student of Open Hand Education.
