Launch of the Second Cohort – Sewing Training Program

We are very proud to share the wonderful news that after the successful completion of our first batch, we have officially started the second cohort of our sewing training program.

Today, a new group of women has begun their learning journey with great enthusiasm and hope. Their excitement and eagerness to develop new skills are truly inspiring. We marked this special beginning with a small celebration and shared snacks together to encourage and welcome them into the program.

Celebrating the Completion of Sewing Training & Certificate Distribution – First Cohort

We are thrilled to announce that the first cohort of women at the Open Hands Education Trust Sewing School has successfully completed their six-month sewing training program.

Today, we proudly awarded certificates to all the women who completed the course, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Throughout the training, the participants demonstrated remarkable commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine eagerness to learn—truly inspiring qualities

With these skills, the women are now empowered to generate sustainable income by starting their own tailoring businesses, working from home, or joining local garment and stitching centers. This training equips them to contribute financially to their families, support their children’s education, and improve their overall quality of life.

By gaining practical vocational skills, these women are taking a vital step toward financial independence, dignity, and long-term livelihood security. This milestone is not only a personal achievement but also a significant stride toward women’s empowerment and community development.
